Durian (Kampot)



In Cambodia the province of Kampong Cham and Kampot are the main places for growing durian due to climate and soil condition. But durian Kampot is very famous and among the most popular fruits in Cambodia due to its natural smell and flavor.

The Kampot durian is small. In the one fruit weight from 2Kg-6Kg when it’s ripe the cover change from green to brown. Do you know the flesh of durian is pale yellow and soft? But if we say about the taste (Eat so nice) Em… is special with richly creamy and very sweet. But did you know that it also contains a lot of vitamin, like vitamin C, vitamin E and fiber that to protect our growing cell and make our flesh are nice. But you have to remember. We can’t eat durian a lot; because it makes us fever.
We can take the flesh of it to make durian sweet rice, durian ice cream, durian mix milk and durian cake and so many more ways.
